Another new guy! SPIF installer

As in the transitions of Ontario's new SPIF regulations, I am trying to make my self more available to the public with questions, concerns, etc. Anyone wishing to know anything regarding the installation to information I will answer any questions with the best of my knowledge. Thanks Mike

    In Canada, Ontario effective january 2020 all lift axles must be steer axle and computer controlled (air pressure, when to raise when to lower etc,

    SPIF...aka as of January, all older tri-axles lost a crapload of value, or became 'heavy' tandems.

    So when you say "computer controlled", what exactly are you doing? Engine CPU is controlling drop axles? or just some board tied into the trans so that if the truck is moving the axle has to be down? Can't you just retro fit a older truck with a steer axle instead of a fixed drop axle? Also- welcome to the board.

    Yeah I hear allot of that. Some are selling out of province. Allot are booked into our shop for new steer axle and lift axle computer contols. Roughly about 20k Canadian
