Looked on the usual sites and didn't see much for sale. Looking for something to do some roadbuilding and also put a clam on and do shovel/hoechucking with. Something well under 10,000 hrs. With lots of life left hopefully. Cat, Deere, Hitachi...

There's a nice Volvo 210 on Great West's site and a 240 volvo on Brandts site. Not sure if you've seen these machines or even if you're interested in a Volvo.
There's a 2054 in PG yard, with a thumb and plumbed for a grapple.....
used? new? for sale?
its gone. I'll keep my eyes open though.
I would prefer the Deere myself, but Finning has a 320CFMHW and a 322CFMHW listed on their used site under Forestry Excavators. http://www.finning.ca/Services/Online_Services/Caterpillar/Used_Equipment.htm
I think you are going to need some fairy dust to find something like that right now. The logging industry hasn't bought much of any new in a long time so any used machine you find will either have a ton of hours or be real pricey. Good Luck!
Maybe not where you are, but the logging business is gangbusters up in BC, has been for 4 years or so and is only going harder. His problem is that the smaller subcontractors are buying the machines off the big guys for more than they can trade them in for.
320 needs a ton of work, trying to get a deal going on the 322.
Exactly. And I'm worried I'll tear apart two normal machines in rock.
Better be near free to consider that machine....
Logging is going gang busters here also. There are few new guys getting into the business and established businesses haven't bought much of anything new since the banksters ruined the finance industry. So the iron in the states got run a whole lot longer than normal. So if you find a low hour logger or pioneer machine from a company that went bust, you better bring cash and buy it today. There will be others ready to pull the trigger right around the corner.
