china bearings anyone ever use them half price of temkin but very leary of them enduro brand?
Usa
are u saying these made in usa thanks for the reply are you sayin these bearings are made in usa ? and have you used them and if so in what and how did they hold up ?
I am not familiar with the name Enduro. If you Google this links come up that appears they specialize in off-road bicycle bearings/parts. I would suggest you see what this company link gets for the Timken part numbers. They sell both USA & other country bearings. Get them to quote both.. http://www.daltonbearing.com/ I have used off shore bearings with no problems in the past: mostly smaller bearings that see little abuse or not so critical. Maybe the most important question is " how hard is the part to replace later?" Labor cost can wipe out material cost savings pretty quickly, most especially if the part can damage other items with a failure.:cussing Bearings and seals are availabe from a multitude of suppliers: the trick is having the original part number. Seals is the ones I have trouble with: seems they always have some slightly different part number in stock that "should work ok".
one of the aftermarket parts sources sent these to me in place of the temkin # s but about half the price but im leary of them as i think they came from china. as for the labor thats all on me im kinda a do it yourself type guy do all my autos myself bikes and pretty much everything else but dont know anything about these bearings . local bearing store taked bad about china bearings said they were soft inside and would self destruct but they are selling theres at twice the price. so im leaning twards chicken if you know what i mean because they inner and outer axil carriers of a heavey meachine anyones imput would be welcome. guy told me one time if you gotta ask the price you cant afford it lol
We had a Mack truck rear wheel bearing that had a big chunk broke out of it.Truck only had 150,000 miles on it.Came from factory with China made bearings. The Shop owner said they were junk. His opinion not mine.Might be one in a million like this.
thanks for the input 2stickbill

Not really sure what your asking bowtie, assuming your talking about a 580CK....... hope this helps
# 7 s are tapered on your schematic don't know which way the taper should point . inside of thrust washers # 7 are tapered don't know if the taper should face away from bearing #8 or towards it ?
Rollers on thrust bearings #7 seem to point toward bearing#8
