Any one here familiar with replacing the lead acid battery to lithium one?

I'm dealing with battery and wanna design a universal battery for forklift. Anyone has experience on this?

    My brother has been designing them but it's from scratch. You probably need to limit current, possibly a automotive li battery could drop in

    Limit the current won't be a problem. You can always using the BMS for controlling

    Like, there are so many forklift brands on the market, coming with different size of battery case. And the motor power is also different. Is there any possibility to let one single battery work with different brands?

    Yeah the batteries he uses do it already, they are $5000 a piece batteries

    Well it depends really because the battery is the weight for electric forklifts . So bigger the forklift bigger the battery. Small forklift small battery .
