Hi all, 262c skid loader seems to be packing the air filter full of snow, maybe someone got a simple solution for that besides not blowing against the wind, anybody?

i used to run a cat 140g on the highway plowing snow and gound that a pair of my girlfriends panty hose over the intake would stopit from plugging the filters.

Air filtering systems on equipment were designed to stop the dust and grit in the air. When snow is blowing the enviroment is very clean and the need for a filter is unnecessary. Chainsaws only use a mesh screen in a snowy enviroment. Many snow blowers have no filter system at all. As mentioned above panty hose work well to keep the intake from allowing the snow to the filter. There are also inner filters that are just screens that can be used without the paper element in a snowy enviroment.
