Bought a group of parts from auction recently and this cylinder came with. Didn't get any details or info on it, so im trying to do some research on what it might fit. Appears to be a boom cylinder for an excavator? Any idea what make or model it belongs to? I did find some numbers stamped into it so hopefully that will get me in the right direction. Thanks for any help!

that looks like a volvo excavator boom cylinder with the additional safety valve. The valve will close if a hose fails, so one hose can't drop the boom down completely. you could take some measurements to narrow down what size.
Is Volvo the most common one to use that safety valve?
Is it safe to say it's probably for a 2016 or newer machine? Based off the date on the Rexroth tag?
It's volvo gray. It has a hose burst safety valve. That's all I got.
