Anybody ever tried getting the pin bosses machined over sized and bushings made to fit. Crazy they weren't built with replaceable bushing. Price of new cyl might make machine work viable. Anybody tried it.
Why not? If there's enough metal left to bore and install sleeve bushings, go for it. Perfect job for a vertical mill, don't even have to disassemble the cylinders. Pictures?
Sure thing Wish I had room for a mill but had to make do with a boring bar in my mag drill Cat quoted 175 each for the boring bushings are 25 my local machinist would have done it for half that but was too busy to give you an idea on pricing
