Auger on bobcat spins, but will not dig? Ideas? :Banghead
Not trying to be insulting, but, it's not spinning backwards, is it?
No. Its on a t190 hi flow-variable flow. Spins both forward and backwards. When pushing down it just bogs down and stops.
Sounds like you are losing pressure. Do you have any other attachments that you can fit to the machines hydrualics? If you have another attachment which works properly, then you will know that your drive motor is worn out. Another easy test is to connect the auger to another machine and see if it works. If it does, you know that there is a problem wth your machine.
Problem is with attachment.
So is the drive motor just not responding to the pressure from the machine? Is it something that can be rebuilt?
