Axle nut on a 2007 gmc4500

What is the torque sequence for tightening up the front axle nut? I replaced front rotors. Thanks.

    You could search for the procedure for the equivalent Isuzu model, or tighten till the wheel gets hard to spin, spin it back and forth a few times, then torque it to something like 50ft/lb, BACK IT OFF, and tighten till you get the minimum free play, or very slight preload is acceptable.

    Not too much load as the smallish bearings do not play well really tight.
