How do I remove my battery from my catapillar 226b series 2 skidster? I have cables removed and battery will not budge.
There is usually a clamp with one bolt that could be at the bottom Center of the battery. Need serial number to be sure.
My 2006 242B has a similar clamp that Mobiltech showed. Gunk, dirt and debris may have it stuck to the bottom of the skid pan. After removing the clamp and removing the dirt around the battery, I had to use a wide prying tool to pry the battery free from where it was mounted. It took a bit of force but it popped free without breaking the battery case.
