Export is the big deal JGS, finding some outfit that provides good machines and can take care of the export aspect. I know where you're coming from though, looking for machines outside of your country and don't know who to contact, kind of the same problem we have. My company is looking for Komatsu CD60 rubber track dumpers, and the units that are here are expensive. We're searching for an Asian exporter of these machines and have had little luck finding one.

No worries JGS, we're looking for these machines for our rental fleet, no need for me to send PM regarding this info. Hrs, as with any machine, is important info, but not necessarily critical. Certainly, 20K hrs would be risky, but anything, 2K to 8K, the hrs are less important than machine condition, shape of undercarriage, engine operation, overall machine condition. We are searching for Komatsu CD60R rubber track machines, no steel track versions, CD110R machines, and Morooka dumpers. If you know an Asian exporter of these machines the info would be much appreciated.

Mate i would also suggest for you to try KUEC (komatsu used equipment corp) they are in japan that a few of the dumpers you are after in there last few auctions you can also buy outside of there auctions but dont tell them they are for you to use in your rental fleet tell them they are for resell to others. also i will look though my contact list and see who else might be able to help you i have sold 2 CD60R to Canada before.

Thanks, I'll look into it. We're picky about the models being rubber track machines, the steel track machines are just too expensive to service the undercarriage, not to mention the difference in ride. I have found a good supplier for steel track undercarriage rollers, Kenkie Depot, but the steel track machines are still just too hard on undercarriage to keep in rental service.

I know some people who will handle the boxing and export for you. Finding the machines is another matter. Trusting what you find to actually be what you want is issue that can be hard to deal with. Send me a PM if you wish to pursue more.

In his opening post, JSG Parts says he doesn't much like dealing with them.

Ritchie Bros. has got the online auction thing down to a science. Now, buying at auction may not be the OP's cup of tea, especially if he can't look in advance. Prices often go high at auction compared to private treaty deals. Otherwise, I recommend www.catused.com . Just keep in mind you are dealing with salesmen here. But the inventory is huge nationwide, prices are posted for most items and you are dealing with CAT dealers. And salesmen. Don't forget the latter.

Since you don't trust that pretty yellow paint on the Richer Bros yards, might want to look at IronPlanet. I also work with a broker who comes over from Oz on a fairly regular basis inspecting machines for customers. Let me know if you are interested, I will put you in touch with him.
