Any suggestions on how to sell or part out a backhoe? Heads have just been rebuilt so there are some good parts still on it. Needs new fuel pump and I just don't want to put the money into it. Any thoughts appreciated.
What model is your 680 ? If it is very old parting it out may not be the best way to sell it. There is getting to be fewer and fewer of the real old ones still running.That means there will not be a lot of people looking for parts for that particular machine. Then you have the problem of finding buyers for the parts. It weighs about 14,000 lbs. You might consider scrapping it. I think scrap metal right now is about $250.00 a ton. If it is a C model or newer I myself would consider getting it running and sell as a usable machine. You will not be able to get a decent price for it if it doe's not run.
