Big production

Started a new site, gonna build a race track (foot) with a football field in the middle, two soccer fields and a green space. We have to grade everything, get it approved by parks then put 6" (15cm) of rough loam then 6" of "sand loam" on top. I got two 657Es sent to me, one with blown injectors (will be pulling the powerpack) and it lit the compressor on fire after it got stuck on the pile there. We left it idling in nuetral while we got the cable, came back to it smoking like crazy! The other one (also stuck) has a blown turbo and blows white smoke and flames ou the back stack! The seat is also stuck full up, rock hard, and the hitch (possibly switch) doesnt like to go up or down. The 621F Auger was already on site from last year, but with a flat rear left tire. The one on the pile was it's first load, and the one to the left went to pull it out and is now down to the bellypan. I have a 140H and 621F availible for the rescue mission (BUWHAHAHAHAHAHA AS IF!), that is after the 50mm of rain and 30+cm of snow comes this week and we let everything dry for 3-4 days minimum. Oh and as of right now I don't have any access for the fuel truck, the site is fenced off completely and the only access we are allowed to use is through the commercial site you can see with the cranes. Except the tri drive truck can't make the corners weaving through their site. ointhead

Oh come on... its not as bad as you make it out to be. You are used to 51's.... a limped 57 should be no problem. Fuel truck access... thats easy I learned this one at Waiward from a mechanic. What you do is find a nice place for an entrance... get some speed with the fuel truck and A-Team the gate. Here is the solution, take a couple days off like I am, spend it chasing theo around the house, and I'll come down all stealth like that "dispose" of the bird.

I think someone in the office hates me, this was our first day and first load. At least we know the site is soft now and have a baseline for how long it needs to dry after the three days of rain coming (started today right after they got stuck). That and having two nutted buggies is a good way to convince them we need a cat on site for all the mud holes

Are you sure you don't want the cat to "accidentally" knock a hole in the fence for the hose jockey?

Let me guess, they sent you a job trailer with a broken handle shovel in it as well. Would be a perfect fit.

Trailer? I didn't even have a cable to pull them out with! Not that the 621F is going to do much in the pulling department against a 657E.

Well, you have a good point. And, a 657 sitting stuck on a mound of dirt is a priceless picture. :Banghead
