Bitterroot Miniyarder

I have photos of two Bitterroot miniyarders to share. Any more photos of these "toy" yarders available? The light trailer- mount is owned by the USFS and is presently located in Missoula, MT; the heavy trailer mount is owned by the University of Montana and is at their Lubrecht Experimental Forest.

Drum set and corridor view of the USFS yarder. This rigging had four guys, two front, two back.

These yarders are 18 hp, built with garden tractor hydrostatic transmissions: https://www.fs.fed.us/eng/pubs/htmlpu bs/htm83512504/page01.htm

That's pretty cool. I'd have a helluva firewood setup with that!
