Bobact T300 A/C Problems

Just bought a 2005 Bobcat T300 with a/c and it's not cooling right. The previous owner said he thinks he found a leak in the hose that goes from the condensor too the compressor? Is there an easy way too check for leaks without any special equipment? Or any other things we should be checking as well for operation? also it didn't come with an owners manual and it would be nice too have a diagram etc of the a/c system and components. Thanks for the help

I have had fairly good luck with the 134a that walmart sells with seal swell and colored oil that is easy to see. My pickup truck would stay cool for 2~3 months on the first charge my buddies gararge did and I added so of the walmart stuff before it stopped working so it didnt needed evacuated again.

or you need to buy or borrow a freon sniffer or leak detector and check the connections and lines while it has a charge in it

fill with air and listen for the leak,or put bubble stuff on it and you will find it,

Ok. I may have too take too a shop somewhere. Also had another question. The skidsteer has 1100 hours. It's an 05 model. There seems too be something leaking back by the sprocket on the one side. It's nothing major but it's obviously damp around that area. Any idea's as too what could be leaking??

We had some of that 134a freon stuff and put it in, it actually started cooling quite well considering how hot its been these last couple days. Then today the fan just quit. Checked the fuse and its fine. Think the fan is bad and needs replaced??
