Hi, my bucket dropped to the ground yesterday on my 1998 Bobcat 743. Upon inspection the valve stuck in that position. I tried a pry bar to move the valve but it won't move at all. What is my next option? Removing the valve bank and have a look inside ?
stick in detent position? last thing i'd be doing is removing the valve assembly. disconnect the linkage, and remove the lift spool from the rear of the valve. the detents are probably rusted/corroded. willie has a couple threads covering seal replacement and detent disassembly/assembly i dont think you have a '98 743, 40 series machines went out of production in the late 80's/early 90's :drinkup
