No banjo fitting screens, but they do have a strainer screen on the end of the pick up tube inside the tank. What typically happens with a Bobcat, when that screen gets clogged to the point it makes the engine stall out it will at that moment suck the primer bulb in the fuel line flat.

Mine was starving for fuel once and was the pickup tube itself. I guess it was rotten and the end of the tube " where the screen was" broke off in small pieces and was stopping up the tube. I could blow the fuel line out, "back in the tank, and it would run good for a while. That's how I figured out it was in the tank.

Well we had a 743, probably about the same as the 753, same kind of problem actually twice. One time it was the 90º elbow on the top of tank being plugged and another time it was a problem with the line from the elbow down to the small shut-off valve in the fuel line.

i took of primer bulb and there was no fuel coming out, so i blew back into tank and had fuel flow for a little bit then it slowed to nothing, so it must be a tank screen/elbow plug problem.

Should be able to raise the cab and pull the suction tube out of the tank. ItS not to bad of a job.

if you blew back into the tank through the suction hose, you probably blew the check valve/screen off the end of the pickup line inside the tank. :drinkup

yes, I might have, I used around 30lbs of air pressure, we also replaced the fuel line to, bobcat said could be sucking air some where, it has been running good for the last few days. I guess if the fuel filter gets plugged very fast, then the check valve/ screen was blown off.

if the check valve is missing, fuel will bleed back down into the tank when the engine is shut off. :drinkup

no need to prime yet, so check valve must still be in place, also when we pulled sqeeze bulb it had a check valve there also.
