I have a problem with the v-blade on my 2003 bobcat s-185. i put it away last year and everything worked fine. When i took it out this year, the plow wont angle either way. When i rock the right thumb switch the hose tenses up and the oil dead heads at the valve block. the left thumb switch does nothing. Have you guys had any problems with these units at all? thanks for any help in advance!

sounds like a quick connector isnt in all the way on your AUX hydro hoses.

Have you had it in for service recently in the last year since snow. If so it may be that the dealer techs unhooked the plug in the back by up. the battery to hook up the service analyzer. so it may be a communication error between the blade and machine because its not hooked up. also have the mice been chewing on the wires on the blade over the summer? It could also be in the coils and the stems on the blade seized up and not working or a bad coil not energizing.

fixed thanks for the replies guys, i ended up figuring it out. IT wasnt the control box or any plugs. A couple years ago the wire sagged down by the bob tach plate and freyed. One place that i repaired the wire had corroded, never came apart but just wasnt making a connection. all is fixed now, thanks again!

Thats always fun to track down when you have a slight rub and dont think anyting of it, Pull your hair out and burn a few days on trying to fix it. then find the nice green copper wire in their cut out a segment and replace and everything works fine.
