Bobcat skid won’t unlock

AMANDA LIN FINE ยท 2021-04-11 15:46

Hi all... new here, i did search but have no clue exactly what im looking for.. My father rented a new bobcat s62. He used it for 4 hours and everything was fine.. We just started it to load on the trailer and it is giving code b1080-12. Says seat arm bar range low and it won't unlock... does any one have any idea what that means??

I dont know anything about any code but I can tell you that the seat bar has to be all the way down, seat belt on, and you still have to hit the green button on the dash to unlock the controls.

Seat belt doesn't have to be on (at least it doesn't on mine). If it's a rental and you were putting it on the trailer to be done with it, just call the rental place and tell them to come get it! lol. You might try to move the lap bar into different positions and try the green push to operate button, maybe a stop or bushing is missing keeping it from thinking it is down.
