i have a bobcat t300 turbo last week i wore threw the plate that cover the hydro lines behind the sprocket where the final drive is. I figured my sprockets were shot so i ordered new cover plates and new sprockets, installed them and the track is hitting the plate when it turns almost directly behind/above the sprocket. Does anyone have any ideas? could i possibly received plates that were made wrong or too high, what would cause the track it wear on this plate. Thanks
Check the metal track bars that ride on the sprocket, could be they're getting worn which lets those "spikes" on the track ride closer to cover plate. Might need a new set of tracks.
how do i know what the tolerance is on them for when they should be replaced..... it is all metal on the flat part no rubber left ?
Ther are two types of final drives....the deep dish and the shallow one... thus the sprocket are going to be differnt as well....unless i miss under stood the problem...just sayin ....good luck
It is a height issue not backspacing as it goes over the top of the sprocket it rubs on under part of the track and hydro line cover
