I'm currently rebuilding tilt cylinders of a bobcat T630 Could someone please be able to tell me what type of seals these are? The cylinder bore is 3" Piston groove depth is 0.183" Piston groove width is 0.281" I measured the bore and it is 3.010", it may of been honed out a bit. I would like to check the tolerance on a chart.
The piston seal looks to possibly be a PTFE slide ring with a Nitrile energizer. The slide ring can also be bronze or copper filled PTFE type which is very commonly used in a lot of cylinder application for excavators and similar mobile equipment. Kind regards
