hi, i would be curious to know the serial number YL04-00### or YL05-0#### as well as the computer version. any fault codes on the cab display monitor. is it the hydraulics jerking? have you had a tune up done in the last little while? if the oil flow degrades from the pumps the hyd can get a bit jerky it will lose out on being fluent. do you have a hyd pin grabber such as a JRB? please e-mail me responses at " [email protected] " i will see how i can help. cheers! adam

i Have had no fault codes... Its got 3200hrs on the machine. When i operate the boom and try to move the hydrolic thumb everything slows down and in order to get the thumb to move i have to stop with any of the other hydrolics.. no coupler and the machine had every fluid changed around 3000 hrs....Any idea why it slows down? And is still so rough of a ride?thanks.

Well could it just be the terrain you are on. Obviously if it's very bumpy terrain for the excavator the shocks can only do so much. I am also curious at the number of hours you have on your excavator. It may be time for some maintenance pertaining to it's shocks.

well i know its not the terrain..its a smooth rd back to where iam working. And its even a bumpier ride while travling backwards.. Are you talking about the shocks that are inside the track frame?? I was thinking it could be a bent roller.

hi, as far as moving the hyd thumb and everything slows down, etc... i would still like to know your serial number and if at all possible call me when you are sitting in the cab seat. there are maintenance screens i can have you access to take quick look at sensors and such. phone 905-888-9070 on saturday. cheers! adam

Yes I was talking about the shocks inside the track frame. It was only a wild guess without more information. I would love to hear what the solution to the problem was after you dig a bit deeper as it seems you are doing. I find learning about any type of fix on machinery can lead to more easily solving future problems for myself. Thanks

it helps the ride if you keep the tracks adjusted up properly(a little on the snug side).
