Nice thing about the new forum software, it automatically resizes your photos if they are to big.

Cool, hope they keep this feature on. The old forum software didn't allow inserting externally hosted photos.

What’s the “Knight Rider” bunk off of? Or is it a drom box?

  8. #8RZucker2018-06-10 16:53

    Mack Superliner.

Corners cut out for the exhaust like they’re supposed to be.....? Genuine Mack or aftermarket?

  10. #10RZucker2018-06-10 17:32

Genuine Mack I believe, Truck shop thought so too. Corner cutouts too.

That’s rare then. Based on what I’ve learned over the years about Mack’s those factory Superliner bunks are rare. Especially with cutouts for stacks. Tocci’s last Superliner got a custom one. Double Eagle I believe.

What model is that B-Model been awhile but that radiator looks different than the ones I'm familiar with. Company had everything from B-42's up to B-81's . And what engine is in it as the dual exhausts don't seem right for any of the six cylinder Mack engines. Kind of kick myself at times as back in the early 1970's I could have had a B-42 in at least as nice of condition as that one free for the taking. Recall it had a flat head six gas engine with a five speed transmission. It was in running condition company just did not have a need for it as they were moving up to using DM's or R-Models for the inside quarry hauling. This on may have had a small dump body on it when new.
