I have a 1450B dozer and it will only move in 1st and 3rd gear not 2nd and 4th. it was working great and I shut it off for 10 minutes cranked it back and now this. when you try to steer it w/ pedals it stops. any ideas
Welcome to HEF lawdog1127! There are a number of issues that could cause such a problem. Does the transmission pressure gauge still work? If so, is the system pressure normal? Does the machine have rippers? Can you raise the tracks off the ground? Does it attempt to drive, in any way, on either track, in neutral? Can you swap the range hoses (near the PTO cover) & see if the problem gets transferred to 1st & 3rd?
