i have a older case 1845 79 0r 80 yr the left wheels wont move oil level is good drive chain is good,linkage looks the same adj as the right side , there is no pump noise when u ingage the lever , where would be a good place to start the diagnosis any input would be apreciated thanks.
Sounds like the motor shaft is stripped or broken. If you can lines off coming off of the hydrostatic pumps to that side is the engine loaded?
also, if the motor does not become loaded with the circuit dead headed the linkage inside of the swash plate may have come undone or the rotating group is non existant
Check the roll pin that holds the linkage to the pump shaft. These also are known to break and work out.
