i just purchased a case 440ct series 3 with h pattern controls i talked to the salesman at the local dealership and he told me that they had a kit for about 700.00 to switch them to iso when i talked to the parts guy he told me that all the control towers had to be changed and a bunch of hoses and that it wasn't a kit you had to buy as seperate pieces i don't think he knows much but i haven't talked to anyone with first hand knowledge does anyone know for sure what it take and how much it cost

The actual hand controls are the same, the hosing is different to allow for ISO pattern. CASE used to sell this as a kit. Check online with some other dealers and see what you can find. You may also try Draco Equipment 208-521=6161. He might be able to get you the kit and explain how it works. Great guy.

also if i run a grapple bucket do i have to run it with the foot pedal or can i run it with the switches on the controls

I think it depends on what options the machine has. If it has the mechanical foot pedal than you use that. If it does not have the foot pedal than it would be electronic off the control handles. The kit may have been discontinued, I just know that it used to be bundled. You may have a dealer do a search and see if there is a dealer that still has a kit sitting on the shelf somewhere.
