Case 455c Track Loader

Just got a 455c and need to replace a track tensioner. Do I have to remove the track to remove the tensioner?

    Yes as you will have to remove the idler. If chains have a good amount of wear we slide them off the side rather than opening them up,

    Dang it! Was hoping to just be able to loosen the idler.
