I need to replace another hose on the back (this time it's the hose for the bucket cylinder). All my hyd shop had last time was 4000psi. It worked fine, but it's pretty stiff. I'd like to use more flexible hoses. Does anyone know what the original factory hoses were rated at? I would think 3000 psi would be more than sufficient. I think the hyd relief valve is 2550 psi or so.
Stay with 4000psi. The working pressure may be 2550 but there is a shock load factor to consider. By that I mean when you are prying and pushing with the bucket = shock load.
Makes sense; thanks.
