Question CASE 580 Super E. Hydraulic upper cooler tube from cooler is leaking just pass where rubber hose connects to steel line. Its a pin hole leak. Do you think I could take 1/2" ID rubber hose and hose clamps and slide over pin hole to stop leak. I seen where the 4" rubber hose is 1/2"ID. Or should I replace steel line for about $190.
If you wish to give it a try a piece of rubber over the hole and a hose clamp directly over the pin hole it must be the solid part of the hose clamp over the pin hole. If that doesn't work the steal tube can be brazed.
