I’m looking for some help the grid heater is not cycling. The fuse under the relay by the fire wall is not blown. There is no power coming to the terminals at the fuse when the key is cycled. It’s 50 degrees out today and it will not start. 2011 case 580 super n Any insights please

If u really need the truck, use a jump box and hit it with 12v till u figure it out..
Thanks
That grid heater will have a large wire ( like size 8 or 6 AWG ) from what I can recall. Will be fed by a large relay with control coming from not sure . When cold the relay should get power to excite the coil inside. You could jumper the relay with a small cable with large alligator clips when about to start. If it starts up then you need to trace the control wiring for the relay. If the control wire is powered up when you go to start, then the relay is most likely burnt internally. Some of these engines will not start without the air intake heater working. Do you have a good multimeter, do you need help to know how to test the relay, and how to test the grid heater in case it is burn't out. Simon C
