Case 580 Super R

Halo I have a case 580 super r that is giving me a bit of trouble. So the diesel pump was leaking a bit but machine was running 100%, i got to a point where i decided to take it out for repairs. I turned the engine so that the valves are rocking on piston 1 before taking the pump out. Got it back and assembled everything again. There is diesel at the injectors but the machine doesn't want to start. Where did i go wrong? Any advice please.
