I have a Case 580B. When I push in on the clutch and try to shift into forward or reverse it grinds like the pressure plate is not disengaging and I don't want to force it into gear. Everything worked when I put it away last year. I have a service manual on order, but just wanting to know if there is anything I can check while waiting? Thanks
Sounds like the clutch is stuck to the preasure plate surface .Not sure if there is an inspection plate on that unit but a blunt hit with a hammer and a steel rod may break it free
