Ok I've rebuilt the shuttle transmission and put a remanufactured torque converter in it. My question is should I put any fluid into the converter before mating the shuttle to it. I followed the shop manual to the "T" (I hope) and it didn't mention putting any fluid in until the shuttle is back together. Then it says to check the fluid after starting the engine. Am I over thinking it? Thanks
Once put together, add seven quarts, start and run, then recheck when warm, add as needed.
