Need help guys, was unloading, a trailer full of cow pop, when the. 580 suddenly died, it had. No diesel in the system. I filled half the tank 30 min before,I bled the hoses and pump , but it still wont run.there was a tiny hole in one hose and replaced it.
Could be the lift pump died. Do you have fuel flowing from the tank to the lift pump? There should be small inline filter made for diesel in the line coming to it.
Check the wire going to the fuel solenoid and see if there is power to it and it is connected to the solenoid and making good contact.
yeah if i prime it fuel does come up, and i will check the solenoid wire tomorrow.
This wire seems to of come loose does anyone know what it does.

Did you find the fuel solenoid? Mine is behind the injector pump. When my switch is turned on the solenoid has 12Volts on it. If your wire does not have this power, see if the loose wire connector you found has 12V when the switch is turned on. Or just put the wire back on if you are sure where it came from. I am not sure what you are calling a "cylinder." If that solenoid out at the injector is not getting power you will never get any fuel. To be clear mine is a 580SE so it may be different; someone else here will know.
Ill check today, the loose wire is right by the fuse box a small circle relay of some sort
