Is there a way to plug into the machine to find the actual hours? We have a machine showing 2,800 hours, but some things are causing doubt. It was bought from a govt. agency in Oklahoma so no reliable history.
From my limited experience I would say no. We have a D and 2 E models ( 521 wheel loaders) as well as a case skidsteer. Two of the loaders and the skidsteer have had the instrument cluster changed by the dealer due to faults within the cluster itself. They were unable to program the existing hours into the new cluster. I have also looked at some used case equipment that the hours were clearly wrong.
