Im kinda new on doziers so pls bear with me....bought this dozier and had water pump replaced thinking it was slowly leaking. Have come to realize radiator was leaking into machine. But before knowing why, had fluids and everything drained and changed due to milky trans fluid. looks as though coolant is somehow getting into trans????? Info and advise would be greatly appreciated

Some have the trans oil cooler in the lower radiator and other have a trans oil cooler that is not part of the radiator. Need the ser # and if it has a 850/850B/850C/850D on the tag to give you better info.

Its an case 850..trans cooler is in radiator. Can the trans cooler be repaired? What will that require?

The rad will have to come out and the lower tank removed, from there it would have to be taken loose and dropped in a soak tank with pressure to find the leak to try and repair it. You may also take the oil cooler lines loose, and use a hand pump on the rad and watch for water/anti leaking from the ports to confirm that is the leak or plug one line and put some air pressure on the other port, remove the rad cap and look for air bubbles in the top part of the tank. Some coolers can still be bought and others you have to upgrade the complete assembly. Most good rad shops can order or make something work to fix it. Your Rad cap pressure is only around 7psi. and the trans converter out is 25-60 psi so you would think it would have more oil in the water but it will go both ways, I have seen cooling systems that were filled with oil and trans filled with milk with the coolant level low after several days sittings and the rad tank pressure forcing the water into the system after the machine has been shut down for some time.
