Case 9010B excavator how so i release track tension on idler?

I have a case 9010B excavator i am trying to put the track back on and i need more slack. Bow do i release the idler/ is there a check valve and if so where is it?

    if its like most on the side of the tension cylinder there is a grease fitting loosen the hex bolt that the fitting screws into
