Was working on my driveway and it made a loud noise and all hydraulics were gone. Assuming it is hydraulic coupling. Anyone have advice on checking and or replacing.
my advice would be tackle it as an opportunity for major repairs you normally wouldn't do. whether you decide to pull motor or pump inspect everything before you start and add those other repairs in. Leaking drive hoses? oil pan gasket? rear main? do it!
Welcome to HEF, Danny ! Your assumption is correct. Pump couplings are a nasty, messy repair usually. Check the front motor mount while you are under there. Those rubber bushings frequently fail. --- Bad for fans and radiators
