I’m trying to figure out how to access then install or remove a freeze plug on a case 980b serial number 6204125. There seems to be no direct access without possibly removing the hydraulic pump and housing to which its mounted which seems odd. The oil pan is below the location. And there’s no real clearance to access it directly. Wondering if anyone has experience with these machines. I’m not the owner and writing on his behalf. He’s a non internet using senior citizen neighbor. I’d be happy to buy someone’s time to help. thanks. Howard 530-462-4645
