Case Excavators built by Link Belt?

Just recently bought a 2016 CASE CX490D excavator. Seen on the data plate it says built in Japan. Are these machines actually built by Link Belt? If so is there an exact matching model in the Link Belt lineup? Curious to learn more about these machines... The good and the bad about them! Thanks

    They are both built be Sumitomo. There is a matching model but they are newer than I have experience with. Check out their web sites and look for models with nearly or the same weights and implement specs.
