have a 65 case W9bd loader. When I got it ran & drove but no brakes. I rebuilt the master and got brakes . also replaced the ignition switch. Niw it won't move ? Trans & all fliuds are full ,all linkages move freely. Clutch control valves sems to working. Have good clutch pressure according to gauge. What am I missing to check ? Any help would be great . this thing is driving me crazy.
Does the driveline engage like it wants to go and the brakes are stuck? Or is there no hint of the engine loading down when trying to move? What about jacking a wheel off the ground and checking it to see if it turns and wants to turn when engaged. Also on my case backhoe my shuttle transmission has a solenoid on it, that is controlled by a switch on the brake pedal, and a manual switch on the floorboard. When either one of those switches are activated, the shuttle disengages so you can rev the engine up without it trying to move. Does your loader have this feature? I can de-activate this feature with a dash switch. If that is being activated all the time it's not going to go.
Wheels are free. Upper driveshaft spins, clutch control valve at the pedal seems to be working . not sure if valve on trans is stuck. It acts like in neutral all the time .
Check your declutch valve in your transmission control valve.
How is the brake pedal? Harder than a wedding dick? Brakes locked up? Can you lift it and turn the wheels? Did it move before you replaced the ign switch? And not after? New switch not feeding power to something? Your first post sounds like you may have done something that caused the no movees. Joe H
There is a lock valve under the dash connected to the brake pedals that acts as a declutch. If it's stuck the transmission will not go into gear.
Thanks all, I am still checking all possibilities .
