Manual calls for Case tool # A43277 for cleaning injector bore before installing injector. It looks like a typical reaming tool. If a standard ream can be used what size is it? The engine is a 188 in a Case 450 Crawler / loader built in 1971. Thanks, David
The reamer size is a Lavallee IDE. inc. JDE39 533 V .3770 / 9.575mm with a otc tool branding. Your pencil injector should be around .3765/66/67/68/69. They make a small thimble also to install the seal at the bottom of the injector to stretch it while installing. Hopefully the pump guy may see this and have more info as to a source for tools. Some of those reams are up there dollar wise. I have used a drill bit in a pinch, gun cleaning kit, 1/4 rod with a slot cut in the end and real fine machine sandpaper. The ream does the best, always turn it clockwise if you end up with one. If there is a case or deere dealer close by they may loan it with a deposit.
