case w36 engine rebuild

Just about to reassemble a case w36 engine - 504bdti and looking for specs I need the liner height, headbolt tensions and the bigend cap bolts. This engine was dismantle 6 months ago out in a large farm wshop and is many km from any major centre and the internet is my only source of info thanks in advance cheers blaze

    You should consider purchasing a service manual for the machine. All of that information would be in it.

    Sleeve height is 0.000 to 0.006 checked at four places. Your hold down for the liner to check should be 50 ft. lbs. Head bolts 210 ft lbs, 70/140/210 steps from center out on the heads, use a straight edge across the three heads to keep them inline. Mains threads oiled 30 wt, If you have hardened washers 195-215 ft lbs and without 145-155 ft lbs. Rods 95-105 ft lbs oiled 30 wt. Your injection pump timing is 25*BTDC and valves intake hot or cold 0.015, exhaust 0.020 hot and 0.025 cold. More info if needed.
