I have an older Case XT 90 skid loader. After starting it, the red parking light stays on and the controls are locked out. We have benn able to get it going playing with the red park switch on the left control. Do I need to replace the switch? some one told me it might be the sensor switch for the pull down bar. What do you thnk?
Could be the switch, could be the sensor. Could be the linkage from the lap bar to the valve is messed up. Does it have a cable hooked to the lap bar? Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
Safety interlock switches are at the lap bar; in the operator seat; & front door (if fitted). There should be 3 green lights on the dash, one for each, if they are OK. Check the switch operations with a multi-meter. You can temporarily or permanently disable the switch by unplugging it & joining the wires in the harness. Safety switches are there for a reason, & if someone is ever hurt by your machine & the switches are found to be by-passed - you will be responsible.......it's your call. PS - Welcome to HEF Dodge!
It has an electrical wire that connects back by your left elbow. I believe that is the lap bar sensor.
