Hey guys. 2012 CNH 4520 Titan. Purchased last fall, ran fine. Fuel filters were last changed spring 2016, so we figured they needed changing. Installed new filters, cycled key about a dozen times, attempted to start. Engine caught briefly, then died. Tried again, cranked for about 5-6 seconds, no go. Called my shop guy, he said to keep cranking for at least 15-20 seconds before giving starter a break, so we did. Started after about 10 seconds. Ran for about 15 minutes, shut down. Next day, required 10+ seconds to start. Let warm up, took out on road and ran hard for an hour. Next day, same thing. Replaced all filters with new CNH filters. Let run 15 minutes, and this morning same story. Any ideas beyond pulling check valves? Thanks.

Good flow of fuel out of that electric fuel pump ? Parts book shows a lot of banjo bolts in the fuel lines. I call more than one a lot. LOL https://partstore.caseih.com/us/parts-search.html#epc::mr67582ar192387

We have decided to not think too much more about it until it's ran in the field a couple hard days. Not sure we can do much more.

We had missed an oring on a drain valve that got swapped for a clear plastic bowl in our application that caused some serious starting problems. Didn’t leak externally but managed to allow the fuel to leak back when stopped. Lots of frustration and great relief when it was finally sorted.
