cat 12g steering accumalator

Hi guys Got a 12g s/n 3wco1360 with notchy steering is this the accumulator at fault .

    Probably one of the first things to eliminate from the list. Nitrogen precharge pressure should be 1000 psi. I guess the next question would be is the pump stroking up correctly..?
