So I was stockpiling some wet sand today and all of a sudden my machine won't hold tilt. It looses pressure even when empty. What can be the issue? My machine is a cat 226b.
Capped the tilt cylinder and It holds pressure. Where are the check valves located on this machine. Or can someone one post hydraulic schematics.
Someone can - but in order to do so requires more detail such as the machine Serial Number. There are 6 different hydraulic schematics for 226B, with a S/N it would identify which of those 6 the correct one for your particular machine. Don't lose sight of the pssobility that it could be an electronic issue with the joystick control.
