Cat 235 fuel consumption

Hi All, I'm looking at an early to mid 80 235 and was wondering what the tipical kind of GPH im looking at digging out a pond in an 8hr day. Does 10gph of fuel sound about right? Thank you for your replys.

    A little high? I'd guess closer to 5.

    Wow, that's not bad. Considering what some of the later model machines in that same class are getting.

    I don't have an answer, except that it depends on if you run it at 70% or full throttle all the time.

    I would have to say full throttle to get maximum power.
