Cat 248B

I have a 2005 Cat 248B with only about 1000 hours. My right joystick started loosing function. (It would just "click" off and then not work. Restarting the machine would work initially, then had to do it multiple times) Over time it has become rarely functional. Thoughts? Help please! Thanking Ya'll in advance

    hi, serial number please do you mean the lift and tilt function don't work or the aux function with either thumb wheel or buttons or both do you have any indicator lights on, do all indicators work with self test when key on Mark

    SN is CAT0248BCSCL00853. All indicator lights work and self test. The entire right joystick does not work. Left one is fine. I can drive it around but can't do anything with it! When it was more intermittent, it "felt" like a very light magnet or relay was letting go. Hope this helps. Much thanks! John
