Cat 259D Aux Hydraulic Problem

rwellsauto ยท 2019-11-08 14:09

I have 2016 259d serial #ftl06869.. And the aux hydraulics seem to have more power in one direction than the other, I have switched from tree saw to my cat brush cutter and one direction it spins up fast and strong and the other is a very slow spin up and if on the direction of slow spin up when disengaged it comes to a very abrupt stop. Any Ideas ??? This problem is on both attachments

Sounds to me like a bad aux flow solenoid, look behind your heels, front of pump...

Are they meant to run both ways? Attachments only designed to run one way will have a check valve in the circuit which will produce the symptoms you're describing.
